About The Artist

Alice is a self-taught painter with previous education in Accounting; she decided to formally study Fine Arts from 2018 to 2020, and is now pursuing the arts in Toronto.

Alice has always been drawn to quiet, still environments, and loves to spend her free time in solitude. After spending a few years in the big city, she’s developed a fondness of the contrast between synthetic and organic shapes. Her ongoing series, "Hushed", focuses on time spent alone in an urban environment. The small, yet detailed paintings emphasize the delicacy of the world around us, and cast a gentle reminder to appreciate peaceful moments in our hectic lives
